At Linden Grove School, we believe that extracurricular activities are a powerful way for students to build social skills, form friendships, and explore their interests. We also recognize that neurodivergent students often have fewer opportunities available to them to fully participate in extracurricular activities. That’s why we make it a priority to offer afterschool activities in a safe, supportive, and inclusive setting – where all students can shine.
Our activities are designed to celebrate each student’s unique strengths while incorporating their academic, social, and sensory accommodations. With our low staff-to-student ratios, every student receives the support they need to fully participate and enjoy the experience.
Afterschool activity offerings change every 8-9 weeks based on our students’ current interests and our staff’s skills. Some activities we have offered in the past include:
• Tech & Gaming Club
• TaeKwonDo
• Cooking and Baking
• Minecraft Club
• Soccer and Net Sports
• Bowling
• LEGO Club
• Yoga and Mindfulness
• Hiking Club
• ASL Club
• Robotics Club
• No Stress Chess
• Music Exploration
• D&D Club
• Drawing Club
• We Rock the Spectrum
• Pokémon Club
