Tuition & Payment Options

Tuition

As a private, non-profit, independent school, we are a tuition-based program. Our tuition for the 2025-2026 school year is $37,745. The cost of tuition includes all academic programming, sensory and social-emotional supports, speech and language services, and occupational therapy services.

The vast majority of students who attend LGS do so through the utilization of one of Ohio's state-funded scholarship programs. Private pay or school district pay options are available, but they are much less common.

Payment options:

Autism Scholarship

The Ohio Autism Scholarship Program provides funding for eligible students with autism to attend special education programs outside of their resident school district. This scholarship, available to students aged 3-21, allows families to choose a private or non-public provider for their child's education, based on their Individualized Education Program (IEP) or Autism Education Plan (AEP). The current scholarship award amount can be viewed using the link below.

Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship

The Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN) Scholarship Program provides scholarships to students who are eligible to attend kindergarten through 12th grade and have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) from their district. The amount of each scholarship will be based on the primary disability condition identified on the student's Evaluation Team Report (ETR). The current scholarship award amounts can be viewed using the link below.

Private Pay

Families have the option to pay tuition out of pocket. This option is typically used if a family lives in Kentucky and does not have access to the Ohio-based scholarships, or it is used temporarily while families are going through the process of obtaining an Ohio Evaluation Team Report (ETR) or an Autism Education Plan (AEP) to be able to qualify for one of the scholarship programs.

School District Placement

On extremely rare occasions, school districts will pay to place students in our program. In these circumstances, the school district is reaching out to LGS to initiate the admissions process, not the family. If you would like to learn more about this option, you will need to reach out to a representative from the school district in which you reside.

The scholarships do not typically cover the full tuition amount. Families have the option to submit an application for our tuition assistance program to help cover the gap between tuition and the scholarship.

LGS Tuition Assistance Program

Financial Aid Philosophy

We, at Linden Grove School, strongly believe:

•  Every child deserves an exceptional education in an inclusive environment where they can thrive, feel secure, and have a sense of belonging.

•  Every parent should feel confident entrusting their child's education to our school, knowing that their child will receive unwavering support and encouragement and that the integrity of their child's program will be upheld.

•  Embracing a diverse and inclusive community enriches us collectively, providing valuable opportunities for learning, fostering empathy, and valuing every individual.

Financial Aid Commitment

We commit to ensuring that families can afford to provide their children with the exceptional education we offer, regardless of their financial capabilities. We also aim to support currently enrolled families who may face unforeseen financial difficulties, thus enabling their children to continue their educational journey at LGS.

Our overarching goal is to comprehensively understand each family's financial circumstances through the financial aid application process. Based on this information, we strive to bridge the financial gap by providing up to $5,300 in financial assistance beyond what the family can comfortably contribute. To accomplish this, we actively engage in fundraising endeavors and seek opportunities to secure donors who share our vision of providing financial aid. Additionally, we strive to establish streamlined processes that minimize or eliminate costs for families whenever possible.
