FAQS
At Linden Grove every child is made to feel like they belong and are important.

Are we a Charter School (Community School)?

No, we are a private school. However, we are charted as an accredited school through the state. We are not a Community School, which is often referred to as a Charter School.

How many students do we serve?

We currently serve forty-one students. On an annual basis, we will evaluate the needs of our school and of the community to determine the number of slots that will be available.

Are Uniforms required?

Yes, children are required to wear blue or khaki pants/shorts/skirts with a solid white, red, or blue shirt. Linden Grove logo wear can be worn on any day. Fridays are "out-of-uniform" days.

Is lunch provided?

Lunches are brought from home. Microwaves are available in the lunch room to warm food.

Are before-school and afterschool care available?

Yes, before school care is available from 7:30 am to 8:10 am. Any child arriving to school prior to 8:10 am must go to am care. The charge for this service is $4.00 and can be used on a regular or on an as needed basis.

After school care is available until 5:30 pm and any child who is not picked up by 3:00 pm is automatically placed in aftercare. The cost is $8.00 a day.

If both am care and afterschool care is needed, the combined charge is $10.00.

Do we provide transportation?

We do not provide transportation. Most parents drop off and pick up their children. Many parents carpool. Rarely do public school districts provide transportation.

The law requires school districts to either provide transportation or reimburse (at a designated rate) for transportation for students meeting the following criteria: The child must live within a 30 minute drive, from their driveway to our doorstep. This includes during traffic hours in which the service would be provided and also all stops.

Does Linden Grove offer a summer program?

Yes, Linden Grove has a summer program that typically runs for 6 weeks. Thematic presentations each week provide concrete practice in a relaxed summer school environment.
