| Students are admitted to Linden Grove School on the basis of their potential for sucess in the program. Applicants must be entering grades K-8. (Kindergarten applicants must be 5 years of age by September 30th and must be toilet trained.) | ![]() |

In order to consider a student, the following is necessary: Phase I !.) Parent tour of school, including meeting with Principal. Optional classroom observation (must be planned ahead of time.) 2.) Completion of admission packet along with a $250.00 non-refundable testing fee. 3.) Return forms to school with copies of most recent Speech and Language, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychological, and Psychiatric evaluations. Include copies of IEP's and report cards for the past three years and any other pertinent information or reports. *Information is due one week prior to testing. Phase II 1.) Testing with OT, Speech Therapist and Principal (approximately 2 1/2 hours). The candidate will meet his teacher and be given a tour of the school at this time. 2.) Student will return for a minimum of a one-half day visitation followed by a full day visitation in the appropriate classroom setting. 3.) A staff member will visit the student's current location for observation. 3.) Student will return for a minimum of a one-half day visitation followed by a full day visitation in the appropriate classroom setting. 4.) A team decision will determine a recommendation for placement. Parents will be notified as soon as possible. If placement is not immediately available, the student will be placed on a waiting list for future placement. 5.) All new students are admitted based on a four-week probationary period. Students may be disenrolled by the choice of the school or parents at any time during their probationary period without financial penalty. Families will only be responsible for tuition and fees concurred during the time the student attended Linden Grove School. Linden Grove School recruits and admits students of any race, color, gender or ethnic origin to all its rights, privelages, programs and activities.
